The Event Coordinator position at the Washington County Dixie Center is a full-time role offering a competitive hourly wage of $21.26 and comprehensive benefits. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of a wide variety of events including conferences, trade shows, community celebrations, and special gatherings. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing every aspect of event logistics, from initial planning, client collaboration, and layout design to on-site event supervision and final teardown. This fast-paced and dynamic role requires an individual who thrives in environments where adaptability, organization, and excellent communication are paramount.

As an Event Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and vendors during events, ensuring all details are meticulously handled and that any issues are resolved promptly and professionally. You will develop detailed event layouts and coordinate resources such as audiovisual equipment, furniture, and security personnel to create a well-organized, safe, and welcoming environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of full-time experience in event coordination, stage management, or a related field
  • CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain and maintain
  • Utah Driver License preferred
  • ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • comfortable working indoors and outdoors
