The role of Event Coordinator at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about faith-based community engagement and possess strong organizational skills. This part-time position involves working closely with the Campus Minister to plan and execute a variety of campus ministry events throughout the year, with each event offering a chance to foster community spirit and celebrate faith in meaningful ways. The coordinator will handle the logistics of significant events such as Holy Happy Hour, Welcome Back BBQ, Parents Weekend Tailgate, Baccalaureate Dinner, and Easter Vigil Party. This includes ordering food and supplies, managing event setup and takedown, ensuring all cleanup is completed, and overseeing event inventory and supplies.

Additionally, the Event Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and coordinating volunteers, ensuring that each event is well-supported and runs smoothly. The role demands a friendly, outgoing demeanor combined with reliable, detail-oriented work habits. Given the physical requirements of the position, candidates must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds, engage in frequent bending and reaching, and stand or walk for extended periods during preparation and service. This job offers compensation of $125 per event and is an excellent fit for individuals who are highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
