Job Description

The Silver Hill Collective is a federation of expert psychiatric treatment programs located in major US cities including Boston, New York, and Los Angeles. This organization unites a group of specialized member programs, each with unique strengths in mental health treatment. For example, the Ellenhorn program has decades of experience treating hard-to-engage psychiatric clients within their communities, Accord program leads the way in developing metabolic approaches to mental health, and Silver Hill New York integrates measurement into care in innovative ways to tailor and improve treatment outcomes. The Collective provides these member programs with shared infrastructure and resources, enabling clinicians to focus deeply on their work while benefiting from the support and scale of a larger organization. Through this model, the Collective is able to sustain and grow clinical expertise that might otherwise be difficult for any single program to maintain independently.

The Collective primarily shares its clinical expertise with the wider mental health field through a variety of educational events. These include intimate clinical retreats, intense multi-day clinical training sessions, and monthly webinars that attract hundreds of mental health practitioners. The role of Event Coordinator plays a central part in orchestrating these educational programs, ensuring that every detail from planning to execution runs smoothly.

This role is a hands-on production position working closely with the Event Production Manager. The Event Coordinator supports the complete lifecycle of the Collective’s event calendar, which includes in-person conferences, clinical training programs, and virtual events. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, requiring a regular presence in the office to facilitate effective collaboration and management of event logistics.

As an Event Coordinator at the Silver Hill Collective, you will gain exposure to all facets of event management within a growing and clinically sophisticated organization dedicated to advancing mental health treatment through education. You will have the opportunity to develop expertise coordinating complex events tailored to a professional audience in behavioral health, involving multiple stakeholders such as venues, vendors, clinicians, and sponsors. Your work will help ensure that each event not only meets logistical expectations but delivers a meaningful and seamless experience that supports the Collective’s mission of sharing knowledge within the psychiatric field.
