Job Description
Peak is recognized as the number one fastest-growing private company in Columbus, Ohio, according to the Inc. 5000 list. As one of the youngest and most dynamic financial planning firms in the nation, Peak has showcased remarkable growth and resilience. Founded with a vision to blend traditional Christian and conservative values with financial expertise, Peak has expanded from a single team member to over 60 dedicated professionals in just four years. The organization has set itself apart by maintaining a culture rooted in biblical principles, integrity, and a relentless drive for excellence. This culture is not for everyone; Peak is selective, having received more than 5,400 applications in 2025 alone but hiring only 19 individuals who align with its values and intensity. The firm’s commitment to fostering a high-performance environment positions it as an elite employer within the financial services industry, especially appealing to those who seek a meaningful career beyond the typical 9-to-5 grind.
The role being offered is a full-time position that blends exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to client service and event management excellence. The individual joining Peak will be integral to planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of company educational events and client appreciation experiences that are crucial to both brand building and client engagement. Candidates will be expected to handle all facets of event logistics—from venue booking and scheduling to attendance tracking—with a keen eye for detail and efficiency. This role demands a proactive approach, as the event coordinator will need to liaise seamlessly with vendors, speakers, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution and to continuously improve event effectiveness through diligent tracking and reporting.
Beyond event management, the successful candidate will contribute to building and nurturing valuable partnerships with vendors and other external parties to support the firm’s expansion efforts into new markets. Growth is a central theme at Peak, and this role encourages those with a "rocketship mentality" who are excited to be part of a fast-growing startup and have aspirations for long-term commitment. Peak actively cultivates a growth mindset, not just professionally but also personally, physically, and spiritually, making this role a unique opportunity to evolve alongside an ambitious company. The compensation package ranges from $45,000 to $75,000 annually and includes comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) matching, health savings accounts, paid time off, parental leave, and professional development assistance. The position requires in-person attendance, emphasizing collaboration and team synergy essential to Peak’s culture of excellence.
