The Events Coordinator role at Visit Fort Collins presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and execute events that embody the organization's mission and values. The coordinator will work closely with the Welcome Center Manager and other team members to handle logistics from inception through the successful completion of each event. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years hospitality or event industry experience
- Specialized customer service training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to drive and operate company van safely
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must wear Fort Collins Welcome Center uniform
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Meeting, Event Planning or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in hospitality or event industry preferred

Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events in collaboration with the Welcome Center Manager, vendors, and suppliers
- Adhere to the Welcome Center event guidelines and respond timely and professionally to community requests
- Provide run of show and event details to Welcome Center staff and document processes for Visit Fort Collins
- Oversee all event logistics including equipment setup, audio-visual needs, room layouts, signage, supplies, and catering
- Manage event setup and tear-down ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to timelines
- Act as the main point of contact for event attendees addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction
- Lead and direct Concierge and Event staff during events for seamless operations
