Job Description

LifeWise Academy is a mission-driven Christian organization dedicated to reviving Bible education within the public school system. For decades, Bible education was systematically removed from public schools, creating a significant void in spiritual learning during school hours. LifeWise Academy aims to restore this vital aspect of education through a Supreme Court ruling that allows Bible instruction during the school day. Tens of thousands of students nationwide now attend LifeWise Bible classes each week, making a profound impact on communities and the next generation. This organization is deeply committed to serving the spiritual needs of students by partnering with local churches and volunteers who share their passion for faith and education.

As an Event Coordinator at LifeWise Academy, your role goes beyond just organizing events—it’s about creating memorable experiences that foster community involvement and advance the mission of Bible education in public schools. This full-time position, based at the LifeWise headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio, just outside Columbus, is pivotal to increasing awareness of LifeWise Academy and nurturing strong relationships with partners and supporters. The Event Coordinator supports the event team in planning, managing logistics, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring the flawless execution of events at the Skestos Center and other venues.

This role requires a gospel-centered individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and their families. It demands creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of the big picture. In addition to coordinating event details such as catering, entertainment, and promotional materials, the Event Coordinator also ensures compliance with relevant legal, health, and safety regulations and manages volunteer and staff participation effectively.

This position offers a meaningful career opportunity with a salary starting from $48,000 annually. LifeWise Academy supports its employees with competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for qualified staff, a retirement plan with employer match, and unlimited paid time off. Joining LifeWise Academy means receiving more than just job benefits—it means becoming part of a community passionate about serving Jesus and impacting the next generation through the power of the Gospel.

If you are energized by the prospect of working in a fast-paced environment, thrive both independently and in a team setting, and desire to make a life-changing impact on students’ lives, this position offers a unique platform to do so. Your work will directly contribute to revitalizing Christian education and expanding the reach of the church in America’s public schools.
