This role of Sales Event Coordinator is vital to Main Event's mission to ensure every event is customized and unforgettable. The Sales Event Coordinator will work closely with guests to plan and organize birthday parties, corporate functions, and group events, tailoring each occasion to meet specific desires and budgets. Employment is full-time or part-time with a competitive salary range of $13.45 to $17.75 per hour. As a key player in the sales team, the coordinator partners with sales management to meet and exceed sales goals, drive repeat business, and ensure guests experience the highest quality of fun and satisfaction. This role demands a combination of sales prowess, customer service skills, organizational ability, and a passion for creating extraordinary experiences. Responsibilities will also include utilizing CRM and other business software effectively to monitor sales progress, coordinate event schedules, and maintain strong relationships with clients. The position requires flexible availability, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the dynamic nature of event planning and execution.

Job Duties

  • Understanding all aspects of our event packages and add-ons
  • Selling, scheduling, and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
  • Utilizing systems and programs to input sales revenue, guest information, and create follow-up tasks
  • Partnering with the Sales Manager to exceed birthday, group, and event sales targets
  • Prospecting and cold calling to develop ongoing relationships for new and repeat business
  • Supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales
  • Attending and engaging in weekly sales meetings to share strategic ideas
  • Performing opening, mid-day, or closing office duties including maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
