The Events Coordinator role at Life Time is integral to supporting the Events and Corporate Communications team as well as the adult sports programming, which includes Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops. This position is designed to provide logistical and tactical support ensuring that all adult sports and club events are successfully executed and align with Life Time’s mission and vision. The focus of the role is on delivering a robust program that enhances member retention by providing a superior member experience through well-coordinated and enjoyable events. The Events Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage event logistics, offers project management assistance for marketing campaigns, and actively engages with both members and non-members to promote adult-focused sports programming. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively to project a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $19.75 per hour and can go up to $26.50 per hour depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The role requires a candidate who enjoys a fast-paced environment, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and is committed to supporting health and wellness programming through event coordination and member engagement. This position also involves travel as required and requires certification in CPR and AED to ensure a safe environment during all events. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of experience coordinating corporate or retail event programs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • CPR and AED certified
  • Ability to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions
  • Excellent customer service and promotional skills
  • Ability to build relationships with members

Job Duties

  • Coordinates Life Time in-center event logistics by collaborating with internal audiences and coordinating external vendors
  • Delivers desired event results by providing documentation and reporting specific event measurables
  • Provides project management support for club event marketing campaigns
  • Engages with members and non-members to promote club events and adult programs
