The Sales Event Coordinator position at Main Event is a dynamic and interactive role designed for individuals passionate about sales and customer service. This role focuses on partnering with guests to plan and coordinate memorable birthday celebrations, group events, and corporate functions. The Sales Event Coordinator acts as a sales ambassador, understanding all aspects of event packages and upselling add-ons to create tailored and unforgettable guest experiences. This position requires a proactive approach to prospecting and cold calling to develop new business opportunities while maintaining ongoing relationships with repeat customers. Coordinators also collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to exceed sales targets and help achieve quarterly plans.
On a daily basis, the Sales Event Coordinator manages event scheduling, inputs sales and guest details into CRM systems, and supports local marketing initiatives to boost walk-in and event sales. The role demands excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, as coordinators attend weekly sales meetings to strategize and support broader business objectives. The position is a blend of sales, administration, and customer relationship management, with duties including opening, mid-day, or closing office tasks while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
