The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is a pivotal organization dedicated to promoting tourism and conventions in Little Rock, Arkansas. It operates with the mission to increase economic impact by attracting visitors and facilitating memorable experiences in the city and surrounding areas. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • one year of related administrative or professional experience
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to obtain and maintain Standard First Aid and Community CPR/AED certification within six months
  • pass required pre-employment screenings including drug and alcohol tests and background check
  • ability to work as essential personnel during inclement weather
  • strong communication and multitasking skills
  • commitment to adhere to LRCVB policies and safety-sensitive job regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field
  • one year of administrative or professional-level experience in a hospitality facility such as a hotel, convention center, stadium, or public assembly/event facility
  • equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Standard First Aid and Community CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • experience with event coordination or administrative support preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate assigned small events within LRCVB facilities
  • provide administrative support to Event Managers
  • communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure event success
  • manage event logistics including scheduling, setup, and breakdown
  • maintain accurate event records and documentation
  • ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
  • assist with event-related inquiries and problem-solving
