Job Description
This job opening is with a vibrant entertainment center known for hosting a variety of fun events and parties for families and groups. The company is a dynamic, fast-paced venue focused on creating memorable experiences through activities such as bowling, arcade games, laser tag, and celebrations including birthday parties. Operating in a lively atmosphere filled with music, games, and large group events, this establishment thrives on delivering exceptional guest service and entertainment to customers of all ages, especially families and children. As a key player in the hospitality and event management sector, this company places high value on team collaboration, guest engagement, and attention to detail to ensure every event is seamless and enjoyable.
The role being offered is that of an Event Coordinator who will bring energy and organization to the party experience from start to finish. The position involves supporting the Event Manager by planning and executing birthday parties and group events, confirming details with guests, preparing party spaces, and managing the entire guest experience during the event. The coordinator will act as the host and main point of contact for guests, ensuring all celebrations run smoothly and that guests have a fun, memorable time. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Leadership responsibilities include guiding and supporting the event team, training new staff, and coordinating with other departments such as the kitchen, front desk, and attractions to maintain a smooth flow throughout each event.
The position expects the coordinator to oversee party flow across various attractions, manage food and beverage orders, assist with payments, and handle paperwork efficiently. Physical stamina is important, as the role requires standing, walking for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Flexibility and a team-first mindset are essential, with willingness to jump into different duties as needed to maintain excellent service standards. This role offers the opportunity to work weekends and evenings, and to engage directly with families celebrating special occasions in a lively and supportive environment. It is ideal for someone with a background in guest service, hospitality, or events who enjoys working with people and leading by example. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to compliance with federal employment laws and ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace for all employees.
