Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, business, or related field
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in event coordination, event venues, or event industry
  • experience in event logistics, coordination, and planning large events
  • strong customer service and vendor relationship skills
  • proficiency in event management software
  • excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • good presentation skills
  • knowledge of audiovisual technology
  • commitment to being an active participant in the employee-owned culture

Job Duties

  • Plan events, conferences, and training sessions that meet HDR standards
  • coordinate timelines and production schedules to ensure timely execution
  • manage logistics including venue selection, room setup, audiovisual needs, catering, travel, lodging, and material shipping
  • serve as primary on-site contact for event execution
  • source and manage vendor relationships including venues, hotels, audiovisual providers, and catering services
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to align on event objectives
  • develop and manage event budgets and process financial reconciliation
