As an Event Coordinator at Main Event, you will play a pivotal role in bringing joy and excitement to our guests by helping them plan unforgettable birthday parties and group events tailored to their specific needs. This role requires a blend of creativity, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety and cleanliness standards. You will be responsible for managing the entire event planning process, from initial guest engagement and sales to scheduling and coordinating events, ensuring that every detail aligns with the customer's vision of fun. The position involves actively selling and promoting event packages and add-ons while utilizing various systems to track sales, guest information, and follow-up activities. Partnering closely with the Sales Manager, you will work to exceed sales targets and contribute to the store's overall success through prospecting, cold calling, and supporting local marketing initiatives.

Job Duties
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards

- understanding all aspects of event packages and add-ons
- selling, scheduling and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events
- utilizing systems and programs to input sales revenue, guest information, and create follow-up tasks
- partnering with the sales manager to exceed budgeted sales targets and achieve quarterly sales plans
- prospecting and cold calling to develop ongoing relationships for new and repeat business
- supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales
- attending and engaging in weekly sales meetings to share strategic ideas
- performing opening, mid-day or closing duties
