This environment fosters a unique workplace culture focused on Christian ministry and servant leadership, aligning with the organization's vision and faith-based objectives.
The role in question is positioned within Young Life's event support team, offering critical assistance throughout the lifecycle of key organizational events. This part-time or flexible role is instrumental in facilitating a seamless flow of operations, from pre-event planning stages to on-site execution and post-event wrap-up activities. The hourly pay range for this position is estimated between $19.00 and $23.80, depending on the candidate's education, relevant experience, and geographic location.
The Event Support role involves supporting event preparation tasks such as organizing team documentation, managing communications, handling material procurement and inventory, and assisting with data management and report generation. During the event, the role demands on-site participation, including travel to event locations, managing logistics like packing and unpacking materials, leading task execution among the on-site planning team, and coordinating meetings.
Beyond the event, the position requires involvement in inventory management, guest communications, expense finalization, and contributing to the post-event analysis report. The ideal candidate should thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, demonstrating exemplary organizational and multitasking abilities, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Young Life upholds a work culture steeped in Christian faith, expecting staff to act as servants of God who actively proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Employees must subscribe to the organization's Statement of Faith and policies, embodying conduct consistent with biblical standards both on and off duty. This commitment shapes the recruitment and retention of team members who are passionate about ministry and spiritual leadership.
Overall, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity for individuals with a strong Christian faith background and a passion for event coordination, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to a mission-focused organization. Candidates should be prepared for the physical demands of the job, flexible work hours including evenings and weekends during event periods, and a supportive, faith-driven workplace dedicated to youth ministry and community impact.
