The company is currently expanding and seeking a dynamic, experienced, and creative Event Coordinator to join their growing Marketing team. This role is focused primarily on supporting event planning, advertising, scheduling, and execution for the six Colorado-based Specialty Appliance locations under Kodiak Interiors Group. The Event Coordinator serves as the feet-on-the-ground professional who manages all logistical details necessary to produce successful events. Responsibilities encompass vendor relationship management, timeline oversight, budget control, and direct on-site coordination of events to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for participants. This role requires a strong alignment with the company’s brand and culture, as well as the ability to promote this image through compelling event content and marketing efforts. Additionally, the role includes creating event photos and videos for marketing use and supporting social media engagement related to these events. The role demands a versatile individual capable of multitasking through event set-up and tear-down, guest greeting, catering coordination, and mobile showroom management. Effective communication with internal marketing teams across various states as well as direct collaboration with location managers for staffing and invitation list creation are vital components of the position. Experience with event registration platforms like Constant Contact and proficiency with basic graphic design tools such as Canva is also expected. Working flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to support event schedules is essential.
The position reports to the company headquarters located at 188 Inverness Drive West Suite 675, Englewood, Colorado, while also requiring travel and work at various Kodiak Interiors Group locations throughout Colorado. Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting of up to 50 pounds, occasionally in noisy environments and exposure to live kitchen appliances and weather elements during outdoor events. Kodiak Interiors Group promotes a culture defined by an entrepreneurial spirit, collaboration, and strong family values, encouraging all team members to thrive and grow within their roles. They are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
