Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years related work experience
  • Previous supervisory experience with events and event staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of sports and entertainment event management or operations
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in sports management preferred
  • Previous experience with NFL or NCAA BCS football events preferred
  • Physical ability to move around facility and operate motor vehicle
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum education level of BA/BS degree

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Work closely with clients to plan, coordinate, execute, and support events including NFL and UNLV football games, as well as third-party and other assigned events
  • Develop, implement, and oversee all administrative tasks for event department including processing purchase orders, inventory, and department documentation
  • Organize and direct activities, posts, and duties of event support personnel
  • Prepare and distribute detailed event notes to venue departments such as operations, security, guest experience, parking, and other on-site vendors
  • Ensure contractual obligations and policies are maintained and safety requirements are met
  • Manage event details for tenant ancillary events, internal meetings, press conferences, and fundraisers
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
