As a Full-Time team member at JW Marriott, your role primarily involves serving as a vital point of contact for guests, handling communication through various channels including phone and email, and efficiently managing information systems to maintain accurate records. You will be responsible for processing guest inquiries, reservations, and internal documentation using a variety of software and office equipment. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
  • enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases to update records, files, reservations, and answer guest inquiries
  • operate standard office equipment other than computers
  • prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
  • transmit information or documents using computer, mail, or facsimile while proofreading and editing for accuracy
  • enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
  • follow all company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance, and protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation
  • speak clearly and professionally, answer telephones using proper etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and departments
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds
