Job Description
Join a vibrant and dynamic entertainment company that specializes in creating memorable experiences for families, groups, and communities. This company operates in an exciting environment filled with music, games, and celebrations. As a leader in the hospitality and event coordination industry, they prioritize fun, engagement, and customer satisfaction above all else. Their venue offers a range of attractions including bowling, arcade games, laser tag, and themed party rooms, making it a go-to destination for celebrations such as birthday parties and group events.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy atmosphere and enjoys working closely with people. The position focuses on supporting and leading event activities to ensure every party is a success. As an Event Host and Coordinator, you will be instrumental in bringing the party to life by working alongside the Event Manager to plan and coordinate birthday parties and group events. You will have the opportunity to manage guest experiences directly, offering exceptional service and handling the finer details that make each event memorable.
Your responsibilities will include confirming event details with guests, coordinating add-ons, and preparing party spaces with all necessary supplies prior to events. You will be the face of the company during events, greeting guests warmly, hosting parties, checking in with party hosts (especially parents) to ensure everything runs smoothly, and intervening promptly when adjustments are needed. Leading the event floor, you will support and guide the Party Patrol team, assisting with training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to maintain high standards.
Cross-departmental coordination is a key part of the role, requiring you to liaise effectively with kitchen staff, front desk personnel, and attraction operators to ensure seamless event execution. Managing the flow of events across multiple attractions and overseeing food and beverage orders are also essential to keeping parties moving without interruption. You will handle payments and tabs, ensuring accuracy and efficient closing out of events.
The role demands flexibility and a quick turnaround to break down and reset party areas promptly for subsequent groups while maintaining organization of paperwork and daily tasks. A team-first attitude is crucial as you will be expected to step in and assist wherever needed. This employment offers a unique blend of guest service, event management, and team leadership in a fast-paced, fun environment.
The position requires availability for evenings and weekends, reflecting the typical schedule of group celebrations and family gatherings. Physical stamina is important due to the need to be on your feet for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overall, this is a rewarding role for individuals passionate about hospitality, customer service, and creating joyful experiences for others.
