Job Description

The hiring establishment is a vibrant entertainment venue known for hosting lively birthday parties and group events. This company specializes in creating memorable experiences with a variety of attractions such as bowling, arcade games, laser tag, and more. Celebrated for its fun and energetic atmosphere, the venue caters primarily to families and groups looking to celebrate special occasions in an engaging and enjoyable environment. The company embraces a team-first culture, encouraging flexibility and cooperation among its employees to deliver seamless events and exceptional guest service.

The role of Party Captain is dynamic and pivotal to the success of every event held at the venue. As a Party Captain, you will assist the Event Manager in planning and coordinating birthday parties and group events, ensuring every detail is meticulously arranged for an unforgettable guest experience. This includes confirming event details with guests, suggesting additional offerings, and preparing party spaces to the highest standards. Your main responsibility will be to own the guest experience throughout the event by greeting guests warmly, hosting parties, and acting as the primary point of contact for party hosts, particularly parents, to ensure the event flows smoothly and any issues are promptly addressed.

Leading the Party Patrol team during events is a key component of this role. You will provide guidance and support to teammates, contribute to training new staff members, and offer ongoing coaching to maintain quality standards. Coordination across departments such as kitchen, front desk, and attractions is essential to keep events running without a hitch. Additionally, you will oversee party flow across multiple attractions while managing food and beverage orders and ensuring timely delivery.

The Party Captain role demands strong organizational skills, an ability to multitask effectively, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will manage payments and tabs accurately, reset party areas quickly between groups, stay on top of daily paperwork, and be ready to jump in wherever needed. This position requires weekend and evening availability, physical endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Working as a Party Captain offers a rewarding experience in a fun setting surrounded by music, games, and celebrations. It is perfect for individuals who thrive in guest service, enjoy engaging with people of all ages, and appreciate being part of a collaborative and spirited team dedicated to delivering outstanding events and customer satisfaction.
