The role available at WesCo Brew & Bowl is a full-time position focused on sales and marketing, specifically weighing 70% sales and 30% marketing responsibilities, with an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the logistics and details of all events hosted at the venue. This includes managing critical event elements such as final guarantees, private space arrangements, signed contracts, transportation, check-in procedures, deposits, and final payments. The role entails preparing event folders complete with final documentation, banquet checklists, relevant event cards, drink tokens, and other materials necessary for smooth execution. Communication is a key aspect of the job, requiring close collaboration with operations managers, technical staff, and culinary teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

In addition to event execution, the position involves administrative duties like managing office supplies and ordering, tracking banquet competitions, updating the marketing and sales sections of the crew wall, and inspecting physical equipment for damages. The candidate will also play an active part in marketing and promotional efforts by creating and publishing engaging content across major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Monitoring and responding to online reviews, managing influencer and brand ambassador partnerships, and supporting grassroots marketing initiatives with local organizations form integral parts of the marketing responsibilities. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of FEC/restaurant/hotel catering experience in a high volume environment
  • Understanding of major social media platforms
  • Excellent computer skills and spreadsheet familiarity
  • College degree preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all event logistics and details between client and sales office including final guarantee, private spaces, signed contracts, transportation, check-in, deposits, and final payments
  • Prep next day event folders with final green copy, populated banquet checklist, applicable event cards, drink tokens, game cards, wristbands
  • Communicate all specific details to operations managers, technical manager and chef
  • Assist with organizing assigned banquet staff for coverage for all events
  • Meet with the banquet captain/service manager weekly to review upcoming schedules and ordering
  • Provide interactive communication with guests and potential guests
  • Manage and oversee office supplies and ordering
