The Event Coordinator role at Dave & Buster's is a pivotal position responsible for delivering exceptional event experiences that align with the brand's high standards and customer expectations. Event Coordinators will handle a variety of occasions, including birthday parties, corporate events, team-building activities, and social gatherings. The role requires close collaboration with multiple departments such as food and beverage, gaming, and operations to ensure seamless event logistics and outstanding guest experiences. This position is dynamic and fast-paced, often requiring flexible hours including evenings and weekends to support event schedules. The successful candidate will be expected to create event proposals, manage budgets, oversee setup and teardown, and proactively resolve any challenges during events to ensure client satisfaction. Maintaining comprehensive records of event details, client communications, and financial transactions is crucial to the role. Job Duties

  • As an Event Coordinator at Dave & Buster's, you'll be instrumental in crafting exceptional and seamless event experiences for our guests
  • This role demands a highly organized and communicative individual who can expertly manage all facets of event planning and execution, ensuring each occasion is a resounding success
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of events, including birthday celebrations, corporate gatherings, team-building activities, and social events, ensuring they align with guest expectations and Dave & Buster's standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and client communication, building strong relationships and ensuring all needs and preferences are understood and addressed
  • Collaborate closely with various internal teams, including food and beverage, gaming, and operations, to coordinate event logistics and ensure smooth execution
  • Develop detailed event proposals, contracts, and timelines, managing budgets effectively and ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately
  • Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring the event space is appropriately configured and all necessary resources are in place
  • Proactively address any issues or challenges that may arise during an event, ensuring a swift and satisfactory resolution to maintain a positive guest experience
  • Maintain meticulous records of event details, guest interactions, and financial transactions
  • Stay informed about Dave & Buster's offerings, promotions, and event packages to effectively communicate options to potential clients
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance the event experience and identify potential for repeat business
  • Uphold a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing Dave & Buster's in a favorable light
  • Assist other team members and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment
