Job Requirements

Retail and customer service experience required
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to move throughout the store
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
Commitment to maintaining company cleanliness and safety standards
Willingness to participate in physical store tasks

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience planning and coordinating events, especially children’s events
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening
Organizational and interpersonal skills
Creative problem-solving skills
Retail or customer service experience
Ability to engage effectively with guests of all ages
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Basic knowledge of craft projects and supplies

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting and other party activities
Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
Communicate event details with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
Adjust event plans based on client feedback
Create backup and emergency plans
Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
Assist customers in shopping and locating products
Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
Support omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS
Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to company policies and SOPs
Maintain positive and respectful interactions
Cross train in custom framing sales and production
Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
Perform other duties as assigned
