Event Coordinator

Formed in 1952, The Austin Humane Society is Austin's largest, longest-standing, no-kill, non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating unnecessary euthanasia of dogs and cats through innovative life-saving adoption programs, high-volume spay and neuter programs, engaging the community to be part of the solution, and serving animals and people in times of crisis. The Events Coordinator is responsible for Austin Humane Society's event-based programming by representing and coordinating third-party events and assisting other client-based opportunities that engage the community in AHS's mission and work. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Individual Giving and Corporate Relations and plays an integral role on the Development and Communications Team. This position works with a variety of individuals, groups, donors, event guests, volunteers, staff, and other constituents to ensure everyone who encounters AHS has an excellent experience.
