Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Experience working in a retail environment
  • Must meet federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • Effective communication skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality

  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail and customer service experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good communication including written and verbal skills

  • Interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
  • Adjust plans based on client feedback and ensure client satisfaction
