The Center plays a crucial role in boosting the economic vitality of the greater Nashville region by attracting a diverse array of local, regional, and national events. Music City Center is committed to fostering community inclusion, promoting sustainability, and delivering outstanding customer service through its team of dedicated and talented staff members. As a major hub for conventions and special events, the venue emphasizes seamless event experiences and personalized client care to enhance Nashville's reputation as a top-tier destination for business and entertainment gatherings.
The role under the direction of the Senior Event Manager involves coordinating and producing a broad range of events, from small and local to short-term business occasions such as meetings and banquets. The person in this position acts as a vital liaison between clients and the facility, guiding them through contract interpretations, facility policies, and event preparations. On the day of events, the coordinator supervises setups and serves as Manager on Duty, managing client relationships, adjusting plans as necessary, and monitoring events to ensure their success. Follow-ups on client issues, maintaining comprehensive event files, and preparing billing documents are integral parts of the job. This position demands a highly organized, proactive individual who excels in multitasking and communication while demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
