Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Retail or customer service experience required
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting and stocking tasks
Ability to move throughout the store including reaching high shelves and climbing ladders
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Must comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Ability to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
Willingness to engage with customers and support store events
Capable of performing administrative tasks such as email and phone communication
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and teamwork

Job Qualifications

Experience in retail or customer service
Ability to engage and interact positively with guests of all ages
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening
Organizational and creative problem-solving skills
Experience working with children and coordinating children’s events
Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Ability to handle job stress and maintain professionalism
Capable of multitasking and managing multiple events simultaneously
Familiarity with store operational tasks and merchandising
Cross training in custom framing is preferred

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
Communicate event details with clients and store team members
Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and handling paperwork
Set up, break down, and clean before and after events
Help customers shop and locate products
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
Support Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
Support shrink and safety programs
Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
Remain positive, respectful, and promote organizational values
Cross train in custom framing selling and production
Perform daily store cleanliness tasks
