Job Description
Amazon is a global leader in e-commerce and technology, renowned for its commitment to innovation and customer-centric approach. It operates a vast portfolio of businesses including retail, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. Amazon fosters a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and inclusion, creating opportunities for employees to grow and make a meaningful impact. The Transportation Partner Experience (TPX) team at Amazon focuses on building innovative, community-driven products that support internal teams and external partners, including small business owners who contribute to Amazon's delivery network.
The role of Content Strategist within Amazon's ADX team is a unique opportunity to shape engaging and interactive experiences that educate, motivate, and connect audiences through events ranging from intimate gatherings of 50 participants to large-scale conferences with 4,000 attendees. This role is responsible for crafting compelling narratives and breaking down complex business issues into easily digestible workshops and breakout sessions. The Content Strategist works closely with speakers, guiding them to tailor their presentations to meet event objectives and align with broader company messages.
The job requires a creative and analytical mindset, with the ability to develop content strategies from initial concept to final execution. The successful candidate will be adept at collaborating across various business lines to identify key themes and announcements that form the backbone of each event's content. They will produce detailed content plans, including run-of-show documents and speaker storylines, serving as essential resources for both the internal team and presenters.
As the event progresses from ideation to implementation, the Content Strategist remains deeply involved, providing constructive feedback and coaching speakers to ensure their messages are delivered effectively and cohesively. They strive to make presentations engaging and meaningful, while ensuring consistency with the overall event narrative.
Amazon values diversity and inclusion, supporting employees with disabilities and promoting a workplace environment where everyone can thrive. The company offers competitive compensation packages with salary ranges depending on location, alongside comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and parental leave. Positions are available in multiple U.S. locations including New York, Nashville, and Seattle.
This full-time role demands at least four years of professional marketing experience, proficiency in data-driven program improvements, and the ability to execute complex cross-functional campaigns. Preferred qualifications include expertise in customer research, analytics, and using platforms like Marketo, Tableau, and Salesforce to optimize marketing efforts. The Content Strategist plays a pivotal role in supporting Amazon's mission to delight customers and empower its partner communities through effective communication and strategic content development, making it an exciting career choice for professionals passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and impact.
