The role of the Event Meeting Concierge at Hyatt Regency Columbus is a dynamic and highly visible position that acts as the essential liaison between the Event Sales and Event Planning Managers, Operations, and the on-site meeting contacts. This role is focused on ensuring smooth communication and coordination for groups hosting events at the hotel. The Event Meeting Concierge is integral to addressing and managing special requests and unique needs from groups during their stay, ensuring that each function runs seamlessly and guests receive outstanding service.

This position demands a strong guest service orientation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where constant interaction with guests and event stakeholders is routine. The responsibilities include reviewing group billing, assisting with special projects within the Events Office, and managing event signage to enhance the overall event experience. The concierge must be detail-oriented and highly organized, handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Candidates for this role should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others. Flexibility is key, as the schedule may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on event requirements. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or event coordination preferred
