Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in event coordination or hospitality preferred
- effective communication skills
- ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- proficiency with office software and communication tools
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Previous experience in a similar position preferred
- Delphi or equivalent training

Job Duties
- Serve as a resource and advocate for all meeting planners and in-house guests
- direct guests to their designated meeting rooms, providing directional assistance and requested information
- remain alert and attentive to guests' needs, representing the total hotel image
- present a friendly attitude, excellent listening abilities, and pleasant body posture
- obtain and utilize current hotel communication and event information daily
- understand and maintain confidentiality of group information
- respond to guest and meeting planner needs promptly
- follow up on guest issues to ensure resolution
- communicate necessary information to hotel departments accurately and timely
- provide daily reports on guest service issues
- inform guests about services and meeting room features
- be knowledgeable of hotel location relative to attractions and provide directions
- promote hotel outlets through suggestive selling
- be aware of fire safety procedures and routes
- assist banquets and set-up teams as needed
- coordinate timely deliveries from the mailroom
- ensure correct signage placement and remove unused equipment from guest view
- test and ensure all equipment functionality
- inspect property for cleanliness and safety issues and notify relevant departments immediately
