Tao Group Hospitality is a premier leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for delivering distinctive culinary and premium entertainment experiences across a diverse portfolio of venues worldwide. Specializing in a vibrant collection of restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, and daylife establishments, the company operates some of the most recognized hospitality brands including TAO, OMNIA, Marquee, LAVO, Beauty & Essex, Cathedrale, Little Sister, The Highlight Room, Sake No Hana, KOMA, Avenue, Fleur Room, JEWEL, and others. As a part of Mohari Hospitality, an investment firm focused on the luxury lifestyle and hospitality sectors, Tao Group Hospitality boasts over 25 years of experience, consistently setting industry standards and redefining guest experiences through innovation, creativity, and exceptional service.
The company offers an engaging work environment where talent is nurtured and career growth is supported, complemented by competitive benefits for part-time team members including state applicable time off, pet insurance, a 401(k) retirement program with employer match, an employee assistance program, TAO savings marketplace, employee discounts, and more.
The role of a part-time cocktail server at Tao Group Hospitality is dynamic and customer-focused, designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and excel in fast-paced, high-volume environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, and lounges. This position demands exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional attitude to ensure guests receive gracious hospitality and an outstanding overall experience. Servers are responsible for actively taking beverage and food orders, delivering service with attention to detail, and ensuring guests' satisfaction throughout their lounge or bar visit. They must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menus and the company’s brand ethos, comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the service area.
This role requires teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to adapt in a lively environment that may include noise, crowds, and smoke. Candidates will undergo comprehensive training including Tao Group Hospitality’s in-venue cocktail server training, alcohol awareness certification, and food handling certification. The position involves performing opening and closing duties, assisting co-workers, and participating in daily meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with service standards and brand guidelines.
Ideal candidates possess previous experience in hospitality, particularly in cocktail or floor service within high-volume settings. They must have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to maintain a positive demeanor under pressure, excellent communication abilities, and physical stamina to meet the role’s demands such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 75 pounds. The job also requires maintaining a neat, professional appearance and demonstrating confidentiality and discretion while interacting with guests, managers, and team members.
Joining Tao Group Hospitality means becoming part of a globally influential company that values exceptional service, fosters a collaborative culture, and offers numerous benefits to part-time employees. This role presents a unique opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the luxury hospitality sector and contribute to memorable guest experiences across some of the world’s most celebrated venues.
