The role of Event Chef at Proof of the Pudding is critical to maintaining the company’s high standards during large-scale and dynamic events. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, Event Chefs will be essential members of the culinary team stationed at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. In this role, individuals will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and service operations that adhere strictly to the company’s quality and safety protocols. The Event Chef will not only ensure that each dish is prepared according to the recipes and specific requirements but will also take leadership in managing kitchen staff and coordinating with event organizers to guarantee smooth culinary execution.

Event Chefs at Proof of the Pudding will be actively involved in multiple facets of kitchen operations including food quality maintenance, sanitation and safety compliance, event-specific service standards, interactive chef stations, and accurate food distribution during game days or special events. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation and service
  • ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to lift approximately 30-40 lbs
  • adherence to company uniform requirements
  • ability to stand and move for prolonged periods
  • willingness to follow safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to interact professionally with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge of food preparation/food service and a strong understanding of the execution of BEOs, customer satisfaction and interactive stations
  • must be a phenomenal team player

Job Duties

  • Maintaining the highest level of food quality with your culinary team
  • ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas
  • maintaining the highest level of service, safety, and food quality for each event
  • running food on game-days, assisting in the organization of menu items according to BEOs and event information
  • preparing items according to a recipe
  • cleaning and organization of kitchen equipment and products
  • assisting the culinary management team in all assigned tasks
  • interacting with guests and leading interactive chef stations as needed
  • running game day pantries, overseeing food distribution and accuracy
  • perform other related duties as needed
