Job Requirements
- availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
- reliable transportation
- ability to perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage service flow and maintain professional standards throughout events
- experience with hospitality and event service
- valid Food Handler's Card and ServeSafe Allergens Certification required
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience in hospitality, catering, events, or related field
- proven ability to lead front-of-house event execution
- strong working knowledge of BEOs, floor plans, timelines, and service notes
- demonstrated leadership experience directing service teams
- ability to coach, develop, and provide feedback to team members
- experience leading pre-event meetings and team huddles
- strong communication skills
- professional, solution-oriented guest service approach
- excellent attention to detail and quality control
- ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments
- valid California Food Handler's Card and ServeSafe Allergens Certification within 30 days of hire
Job Duties
- lead front-of-house event execution from setup through breakdown with high organization and professionalism
- manage and maintain service flows during all event phases including cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and late night
- direct service teams by assigning workflow, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability
- lead pre-event meetings, team huddles, and post-event follow-up
- serve as primary on-site contact for clients, planners, vendors, and internal teams
- translate BEOs, floor plans, timelines, and service notes into effective event execution
- resolve guest service issues in real time
