Job Requirements

  • availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage service flow and maintain professional standards throughout events
  • experience with hospitality and event service
  • valid Food Handler's Card and ServeSafe Allergens Certification required

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related experience in hospitality, catering, events, or related field
  • proven ability to lead front-of-house event execution
  • strong working knowledge of BEOs, floor plans, timelines, and service notes
  • demonstrated leadership experience directing service teams
  • ability to coach, develop, and provide feedback to team members
  • experience leading pre-event meetings and team huddles
  • strong communication skills
  • professional, solution-oriented guest service approach
  • excellent attention to detail and quality control
  • ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments
  • valid California Food Handler's Card and ServeSafe Allergens Certification within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • lead front-of-house event execution from setup through breakdown with high organization and professionalism
  • manage and maintain service flows during all event phases including cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and late night
  • direct service teams by assigning workflow, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability
  • lead pre-event meetings, team huddles, and post-event follow-up
  • serve as primary on-site contact for clients, planners, vendors, and internal teams
  • translate BEOs, floor plans, timelines, and service notes into effective event execution
  • resolve guest service issues in real time
