Job Duties

  • Lead execution of dinners receptions and events requiring service food and beverages alongside Event Manager
  • Manage front-of-house staff onsite ensuring standards and uniform adherence
  • Work with Event Manager and client Event Planner reviewing notes before event
  • Ensure safety of floor staff onsite following standards and OSHA regulations
  • Perform waitstaff duties including table setting serving food and beverage and cleanup
  • Maintain strong table service skills with proper place settings and exceptional customer service
  • Oversee food and beverage presentation ensuring company standards
  • Properly set up event space including linens silverware glassware and beverage preparation
  • Maintain communication among Event Manager kitchen staff vendors event planner and client
  • Perform assigned kitchen duties
  • Operate company van safely to transport catering equipment supplies
  • Coordinate timely safe food delivery per health regulations
  • Manage portion control to ensure consistency
  • Address issues during events promptly
  • Interact with clients to ensure satisfaction and handle last-minute requests
  • Complete post-event performance reports including issues and improvement suggestions
