This job posting is for the role of Event Bartender & Concessions Server at the TOCA Soccer Center located in Toledo, Ohio. The position operates on a 1099 Independent Contractor basis, offering flexible, event-based scheduling that primarily covers afternoons, late evenings, and weekends. The Event Bartender & Concessions Server position is integral to the success and atmosphere of TOCA’s community events, such as MMA fights, tournaments, and league matches. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging and enjoyable game-day atmosphere, serving guests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Notably, the role focuses on service and hospitality rather than food preparation, with duties centered around opening and serving beer, distributing pre-packaged snacks, and ensuring a seamless customer service experience.

Because this position entails serving alcoholic beverages, compliance with legal regulations is critical. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess excellent observational skills for age verification purposes, and consistently adhere to Ohio state liquor laws. This adds an important element of responsibility to the role, underscoring the commitment to safety and legal standards at TOCA events.

Additionally, the role involves operating a digital Point-of-Sale (POS) system for cash and card transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the concessions area, and managing supplies efficiently to keep service running smoothly throughout events.
