As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for providing remarkable drink services while maintaining compliance with all alcohol service regulations. You will prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of beverage ingredients, preparation techniques, and flavor pairings. Setting up and breaking down bar areas for events requires precision and attention to detail, ensuring all necessary equipment, beverages, and décor are perfectly arranged.

Collaboration is crucial in this role, as you will work closely with banquet captains, event managers, and other service teams to support smooth event operations. Handling guest concerns and special requests with courtesy and professionalism is part of the role, requiring adaptive problem-solving skills and a guest-centric approach. Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization in the bar area during service hours is essential, along with adherence to all hygiene and alcohol-handling regulations. Flexibility to assist other dining and beverage operations, including poolside bartending, adds versatility to this dynamic position.

The ideal candidate will bring prior bartending experience in luxury resorts, hotels, or high-end event settings, along with strong communication skills, confidence, and a positive attitude. Physical stamina for prolonged standing and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are necessary. Availability for varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is expected. Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 21 and valid authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods up to 8 hours and lift items or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • flexible availability including mornings evenings weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous bartending experience particularly in luxury resorts hotels or high-end event settings
  • extensive knowledge of wines spirits cocktails and current mixology trends
  • experience using micros point-of-sale systems or similar technology
  • strong communication and relationship-building abilities with an outgoing and confident personality
  • self-motivated positive mindset and capable of working independently or within a team
  • preferred prior banquet or event experience

Job Duties

  • set up and break down bar areas for each event ensuring all equipment beverages and décor are prepared
  • collaborate with banquet captains event managers and service teams to support smooth execution of events
  • address guest concerns or special requests with courtesy providing solutions that exceed expectations
  • follow cleanliness safety and alcohol-handling regulations at all times
  • assist other dining and beverage operations when needed including poolside bartending
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area throughout service hours
