The Banquet Bartender position at Four Seasons is designed for an energetic, personable, and customer-focused individual who thrives in dynamic, high-energy event environments. This role involves crafting and delivering exceptional beverage services during exclusive gatherings, celebrations, and special events held at the resort. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a polished, professional atmosphere that aligns with Four Seasons’ renowned quality of service.
In this role, you will prepare and present a wide variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity. Your knowledge of drink ingredients, preparation techniques, and flavor pairings will be key to delivering an outstanding experience for guests. Greeting and engaging with attendees professionally and warmly, you will contribute to the overall ambiance and enjoyment of each event. Your ability to set up and break down bar areas efficiently, manage inventory, and collaborate with banquet captains, event managers, and service teams will ensure smooth execution of event operations.
Four Seasons prioritizes safety and compliance, requiring adherence to all applicable laws and internal regulations regarding alcohol service and health standards. The role also extends to supporting other dining and beverage operations as needed, including poolside bartending during busy periods. This position offers competitive hourly pay based on experience, with additional compensation from gratuities and service fees associated with banquet events. Flexible scheduling, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet the demands of the event schedule. Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 and valid authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods (up to 8 hours) and lift items or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience, particularly in luxury resorts, hotels, or high-end event settings
- Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and current mixology trends
- Experience using MICROS point-of-sale systems or similar technology
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with an outgoing and confident personality
- Self-motivated, positive mindset, and capable of working independently or within a team
- Preferred prior banquet or event experience
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional drink service for event gatherings, adhering to Four Seasons standards and all regulations related to alcohol service
- Greet guests with professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness to elevate each interaction
- Efficiently prepare and present a variety of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all bar beverages, including ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor pairings
- Set up and break down bar areas for each event, ensuring all equipment, beverages, and decor are prepared
- Collaborate with banquet captains, event managers, and service teams to support smooth execution of events
- Address guest concerns or special requests with courtesy, providing solutions that exceed expectations
