The company also prioritizes the ongoing professional development and well-being of its workforce, offering competitive wages and comprehensive benefits to attract and retain top talent.
The Bartender position at Life Time involves more than just mixing and serving beverages; it is a vital role that enhances the overall customer experience at the club. The bartender is responsible for preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in compliance with legal standards and company policies, ensuring that each beverage is crafted with care and precision following established recipes and presentation guidelines, including garnishing. Interaction with members and guests is a key part of the job, requiring bartenders to check ages for legal alcohol consumption, process payments efficiently, and answer questions to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Maintaining a clean and organized bar area is essential, which includes sanitizing surfaces, furniture, and equipment regularly, as well as managing dishware between the bar and kitchen. The bartender also oversees the inventory and restocking of supplies such as liquors, wines, beers, and mixers, ensuring that the bar is well-stocked and operational at all times. Reconciliation of the cash register at the end of shifts is a critical duty that requires attention to detail and honesty. This hourly position starts at $15.00 and can go up to $18.00 depending on experience and qualifications. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items, remain in a standing position for extended periods, and move around the café efficiently. Life Time supports its bartenders with a thorough training program, including required CPR/AED certification shortly after hire, and encourages growth within the company. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy customer interaction, and take pride in contributing to a healthy lifestyle community.
