As an Event Bartender, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by serving exceptional beverages and engaging with patrons to share the unique story behind our culinary and beverage selections. Your role involves not just mixing drinks but also educating guests about our specials and fostering an inviting cultural ambiance. You will adhere to our established Steps of Service to ensure the smooth delivery of services while maintaining cleanliness and organization within the bar area. Accurate cash handling and compliance with safety and sanitary standards are also key aspects of the position. This role requires a proactive attitude, the ability to work collaboratively with team members, and a commitment to continuous learning through training sessions to master our signature drink recipes and service protocols. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of relevant experience in a fast-paced or fine dining setting
  • Knowledge of state and federal safety and sanitary requirements
  • Current Food Handler's Card and LEAD Card where applicable
  • Ability to work effectively with POS and timekeeping systems
  • Ability to work in a sometimes loud or warm environment
  • Clean and polished appearance in line with company standards

Job Qualifications

  • Current Food Handler's Card and LEAD Card where applicable

Job Duties

  • Promote culinary creations and unique beverages while educating guests about specials and culture
  • Follow established Steps of Service to guarantee seamless guest experience
  • Utilize daily Opening and Closing Checklists to ensure preparation and closing tasks are completed
  • Deliver exemplary customer service responding promptly to guests needs and inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area including timely removal of dirty items and debris
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and in accordance with cash handling procedures
  • Ensure food and beverages meet high quality and presentation standards before serving
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately to management
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • Collaborate and support team members to foster a positive work environment
  • Participate in training to master drink recipes and best practices
  • Accurately clock-in and out for each shift and notify management of any issues
  • Follow meal and break policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings
  • Report incidents of harassment discrimination or safety issues to management promptly
