Job Description
Tanganyika Wildlife Park is not your typical zoo; it is a unique wildlife park dedicated to providing immersive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences that inspire conservation and create lasting memories. Located in a naturalistic setting, Tanganyika goes beyond caring for animals by educating, engaging, and empowering visitors to become champions of conservation. The park’s philosophy is centered around conservation one person at a time, aiming to create awareness about endangered species and motivate people to take action in preserving wildlife. This approach ensures that every guest’s visit is not only entertaining but also meaningful, contributing to a global mission of protecting wildlife and their habitats.
As an organization, Tanganyika Wildlife Park is deeply committed to creating a culture that cares for both animals and humans alike. The team is passionate and supportive, inspiring each other to grow while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Employees are given opportunities to thrive professionally and personally through mentorship programs, employee assistance initiatives like mental health support and debt reduction, and a focus on ongoing development. Working here means becoming part of a passionate community united by purpose and the thrilling encounters with diverse animals such as sloths, rhinos, porcupines, giraffes, and lemurs. If you have a passion for animals and are motivated by a purpose beyond just a job, Tanganyika offers a truly rewarding and inspiring work environment.
The role of Event Bartender at Tanganyika Wildlife Park is a part-time position scheduled based on special events held at the park. This role is essential to complement the guest experience by providing excellent service in serving alcoholic beverages during events. The Event Bartender will be responsible for preparing and delivering delicious cocktails and drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and managing bar inventory during event nights. The position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work evening and weekend hours, and a responsible approach to alcohol service.
The Event Bartender will play an important role in enhancing the overall guest experience by ensuring the bar operates smoothly and complies with all regulations regarding alcohol handling. Working at Tanganyika means you get to enjoy a vibrant, animal-filled environment where every day is different—from helping guests enjoy drinks while they watch endangered animals, to working alongside a team that values both conservation and community. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are sociable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing outstanding service in a unique and inspiring setting. Additionally, the park values employee well-being by offering competitive hourly pay, employee assistance programs, professional development opportunities, and complimentary park admission for you and your family. Join Tanganyika Wildlife Park and be part of a mission-driven team that blends excitement, conservation, and career growth for a truly unforgettable experience.
