The Event Associate position is an exciting part-time role within this vibrant company. Event Associates play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring that all aspects of events are managed smoothly and to high standards. Their responsibilities include welcoming visitors, setting up and breaking down event spaces according to specific contracts and layouts, and hosting entire events with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
  • Ability to work varied schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly
  • Ability to perform duties involving bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing
  • Ability to understand and maintain safety standards
  • Ability to work in environments with bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
  • Required manual dexterity to operate equipment

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner
  • Set up and break down event spaces per event contract and floor diagram
  • Host entire event and supervise all activities to ensure guests are pleased with their visit
  • Maintain proper food and beverage temperature and ensure correct utensils are used
  • Pay attention to details and understand event contracts
  • Deliver energetic guest service with a sense of urgency
  • Observe, instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
