This Event Assistant position, located onsite in Fort Worth, TX, offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management within a dynamic real estate company. This role involves providing essential administrative and operational support for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of company events such as meetings, conferences, and special projects. The Event Assistant position is ideal for those pursuing or recently graduated from studies in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration who want exposure to professional event operations. Responsibilities include managing logistics like venue preparation, vendor communications, guest registrations, and event setup and breakdown. The assistant also maintains event calendars, coordinates materials, communicates with attendees, and ensures that events run smoothly on site. Additionally, the role requires collaboration across departments to support event-driven initiatives and promote a positive representation of the company. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Previous volunteer, school, or work experience in event planning or customer service is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Job Duties

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, meetings, conferences, and special projects
  • Support event logistics, including venue preparation, vendor communication, guest registration, and event setup/breakdown
  • Help maintain event calendars, schedules, and planning documents
  • Coordinate event materials, supplies, and promotional items
  • Assist with attendee communications, invitations, and follow-up correspondence
  • Track RSVPs and maintain accurate guest lists
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring guests receive excellent service and assistance
