The club’s mission focuses on camaraderie, sportsmanship, tradition, and honoring the maritime heritage of San Francisco, making it not only a center for yachting enthusiasts but also a landmark of cultural significance.
The club’s Stockton location, Tinsley Island, serves as a picturesque and strategic venue for numerous boating and social events throughout the year. It offers an exceptional environment for members and guests to experience high-quality services in a scenic and maritime-rich setting.
We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our team at Tinsley Island on a seasonal, part-time basis. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments and have a passion for customer service and event coordination. Starting July 1, 2026, successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting the seamless execution of events on Tinsley Island. With an hourly pay rate of $20, this opportunity offers flexible scheduling to accommodate various work commitments, particularly emphasizing weekend availability during the peak season from July through September.
In this role, Event Staff will assist in a wide range of event-related tasks that contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down event spaces, arranging tables and settings in line with event requirements, serving plated meals, managing dish collection, and assisting with hors d'oeuvres service during cocktail hours.
