Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum of 3 years' experience in events planning, management, catering or hospitality planning, project management or related field
  • experience managing and coordinating multiple simultaneous or overlapping events
  • demonstrated history of successful event delivery
  • experience with catering and menu development preferred
  • demonstrated experience managing event budgets and schedules
  • exceptional written and oral communication skills with editing and proofreading experience
  • technical proficiency with Microsoft suite
  • experience with CRM, event management or project management tools preferred
  • willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends
  • ability to travel up to 5 percent
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum of 3 years' experience in events planning/management, catering or hospitality planning, project management or related field
  • experience managing and coordinating semi-complex projects or events including multiple overlapping events
  • experience with catering/menu development and event concept/theme/decor preferred
  • demonstrated experience managing event budgets and schedules
  • exceptional written and oral communication skills including editing/proofreading
  • demonstrated technical acumen with proficiency in workplace technology including Microsoft suite
  • experience with CRM platforms, event management platforms, project management tools, or online vendor management preferred
  • demonstrated continuous learning and skills development in event planning or management
