The agency's approach is not just about event execution but also about driving tangible revenue outcomes for clients by leaving no stone unturned in the strategic planning and implementation of every marketing event. Project Augustus is known for its detailed, client-centric service model that supports the growth of marketing programs and ensures maximum engagement and opportunity generation for partnered brands.

We are currently seeking a motivated Event Manager to work with one of our prestigious clients in the Silicon Valley tech sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee the complete lifecycle of event delivery - from initial planning and logistics to on-site management and post-event accounting. As an Event Manager, you will be the pivotal point of contact ensuring that every event runs seamlessly and aligns perfectly with the client's brand goals and strategic marketing objectives. Employment for this position is on a contractor basis, providing flexibility combined with the challenge of working within the fast-paced and innovative tech industry environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the client’s marketing team to establish a well-organized central repository that holds all event-specific documentation and files. You will be tasked with understanding and managing event delivery timelines and budgets meticulously. In addition, you will coordinate with various third-party vendors to handle swag logistics, equipment delivery, and produce booth designs, ensuring that every element of the event is executed to perfection. Interacting with multiple client stakeholders will be crucial to align strategy and event deliverables consistently.

The role also demands on-site presence at events, requiring travel within the Continental United States (approximately 20-35%) to ensure impeccable event execution. Post-event responsibilities will involve managing deliveries such as formatting leads into standardized formats and measuring engagement outcomes to provide actionable insights for clients. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can adeptly handle real-time changes and challenges that arise during events while maintaining strict adherence to reporting and documentation policies.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in event and field marketing roles, who thrives in dynamic environments and has a passion for travel and event management. Familiarity with project management and marketing technology tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Freshworks, Salesforce, and Marketo is highly valued. The role is designed to provide realistic workloads and the potential for increased compensation based on performance and account management, making it both a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the heart of Silicon Valley's tech scene.
