Job Description

Escala is a premier residential community managed by Columbia Hospitality, a renowned hospitality management company known for its commitment to creating exceptional experiences. Columbia Hospitality is dedicated to fostering a people-first culture where employees are valued as the brand's greatest asset. The organization thrives on inclusivity, respect, and outstanding service, ensuring a warm, supportive environment for both residents and staff. At Escala, residents enjoy luxury amenities such as theater, kitchen, spa, dining room, and wine facilities, all meticulously managed to provide a seamless living experience. The company emphasizes work-life balance, professional growth, and community engagement, making it a preferred employer in the hospitality and property management space.

The role of Event & Amenities Coordinator at Escala is a dynamic and dual-focused position that plays a crucial part in managing resident amenity reservations and private event logistics. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the use of amenity spaces, ensuring smooth operations, policy compliance, and excellent resident experiences. In addition to coordinating amenities, the coordinator provides vital support to the front desk team, enhancing coverage during critical hours between late morning and early evening. This role demands excellent organizational skills, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication with residents, vendors, and internal teams.

As an Event & Amenities Coordinator, you will oversee reservation systems, manage calendars, facilitate event setups and teardowns, and maintain detailed records of amenity usage and feedback. The position also involves hosting resident events, such as Movie Nights, contributing to a lively and engaged community atmosphere. On the front desk side, you will assist with concierge duties, package handling, phone coverage, and guest check-ins, maintaining the high standards of professionalism and service that Escala is known for.

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $30.00 and includes numerous benefits such as paid time off, holiday pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability coverage, and 401K plans. Employees have access to HSA/FSA plans with employer contributions, a culture focused on values and inclusivity, and opportunities for professional growth through committee participation, task forces, and online learning platforms. Additional perks include referral bonuses, discounted lodging, dining, spa, golf, retail, and travel, as well as volunteer and employee assistance programs.

Joining Escala means joining a community and a company that prioritizes creating exceptional experiences by investing in its people. If you are a passionate, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with hospitality, property management, or customer service experience, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and vibrant environment.
