Job Description
Community Concierge Services (CCS) is a nationally recognized home services company that specializes in providing valet trash collection, recycling, and doorstep services to apartment communities across more than 15 states. Known for its reliability and dedication to high-quality service, CCS partners with property management teams to ensure that residents enjoy clean, convenient, and well-maintained living environments. As a growing and established company, CCS prides itself on fostering a work environment centered on personal growth, opportunity, and consistent performance.
This opportunity to join CCS as a Porter involves owning and managing your dedicated valet trash collection route in the Atlanta, GA Metro area, including neighborhoods like Brookhaven, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Marietta, and South Fulton. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with routes ranging from two to three hours each evening, making it an excellent fit for individuals seeking steady evening work without a full-time commitment. Depending on availability, candidates can select routes that best match their schedule, whether that’s Sunday through Thursday nights or weekend-only shifts.
As a Porter, you will be responsible for walking your assigned route to collect bagged trash and recycling directly from resident doors and transporting the waste to the onsite compactor or bins. The company provides gloves and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety and cleanliness on the job, while residents are responsible for tying the trash bags. This role is physical and hands-on, requiring the ability to carry bags weighing up to 50 pounds, which makes it ideal for individuals who appreciate active work and contributing directly to community cleanliness.
The compensation is competitive within the home services sector, offering $40 to $80 per night depending on the route and day of the week. Earnings can range from $250 to over $300 weekly on weekday routes or $80 to $160 weekly on weekend routes, translating to $1,000 to $1,200 or more in monthly income for those working multiple nights. CCS supports its porters with paid training designed to build confidence and skill before working independently, plus paid holidays and advancement opportunities that allow motivated individuals to progress to supervisory and management roles within the company.
This role is suited to reliable and self-motivated individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment. The company values thoroughness with attention to every door along the route, respect for residents and property staff, and the ability to work independently. While no prior experience is required, the ideal Porter comes with a strong work ethic, consistent attendance, and a commitment to delivering quality service night after night.
To excel in this role, you will need a reliable pickup truck with an open bed, which is essential for transporting collected waste efficiently. Additionally, a smartphone with a data plan is necessary for communication, route updates, and service confirmation. Evening availability on a consistent, weekly basis is crucial to maintaining your route and earning potential. Overall, this is a rewarding opportunity to join a trusted service provider in the home services industry, with the flexibility and support that makes the work accessible and fulfilling.
