The community takes pride in maintaining high standards of care and hospitality, ensuring every team member is empowered to contribute to this mission. As a well-respected establishment in senior living, Friendship Village is renowned for its supportive culture, flexible employment opportunities, and comprehensive benefits, making it an exceptional place for career growth within the assisted living and healthcare service industry.

The role of Server within Friendship Village is a vital position on the assisted living culinary team, designed for individuals who are compassionate, energetic, and committed to enhancing the dining experience of our senior residents. This part-time evening role, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, is structured to provide flexible scheduling options and work-life balance, with no late-night shifts. Starting at a competitive pay rate of $15.00 per hour, the Server position is perfect for those who value a role with direct interaction and impact in a caring community. The Server is responsible for providing excellent table service in the community dining rooms, ensuring that residents’ meal times are enjoyable, dignified, and attentive.

In this capacity, the Server maintains clean and organized workstations and sets tables in preparation for meals. Taking orders involves not only accuracy but a courteous and gracious demeanor that aligns with the community’s high service standards. Additionally, Servers clear dishes promptly during and after meal services, helping to maintain a seamless and pleasant dining atmosphere. The role also requires the ability to interpret menus and answer questions, demonstrating knowledge and patience to meet the needs of all residents. At Friendship Village, Servers are encouraged to bring enthusiasm and dedication, contributing to an environment where senior care is integrated with hospitality excellence.

Joining Friendship Village means being part of a team that values its members with benefits such as DailyPay for immediate access to earned wages, special holiday perks including birthday celebrations, and additional incentives for evening and weekend shifts worked. The community fosters an inclusive and rewarding work culture that recognizes and celebrates employee contributions every day. Candidates interested in this role should be passionate about senior engagement and hospitality, prepared to engage in a meaningful position that promotes both personal satisfaction and professional growth.
