Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial experience preferred
- experience in educational or institutional settings preferred
- ability to work independently
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- knowledge of safe chemical handling
- good communication skills
- ability to prioritize tasks
- availability for Tuesday to Friday shifts from 7 pm to 1 am
- willingness to adjust schedule for special events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred
- experience in an educational or institutional setting is an asset
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
- basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe chemical handling
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, common areas, and entryways
- monitor and service high-traffic areas throughout the day
- spot-clean walls, doors, glass, and other surfaces as needed
- sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
- empty trash and recycling containers
- replace liners as required
- restock restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, and tissue
- follow all workplace health and safety regulations
- properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
- use appropriate personal protective equipment
- adhere to college policies and custodial procedures
- work indoors across multiple campus buildings
- perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending
- adjust schedules occasionally for special events
