Job Requirements
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Ability to remember and recite menu items
- Ability to transport trays through crowded rooms
- Must adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Work as a team player
- Ability to remain motivated during varying workloads
- Cash handling and self-banking ability
- Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale system
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate with guests, take orders, understand the menu, and promote specials
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
- Ability to transport trays through a crowded room continuously throughout the shift
- Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift
- Work as a team player
- Ability to remain motivated during busy and slow periods within shift
- Cash handling and self-banking skills, including ability to maintain funds and accurately count back change
- Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain the beer program, all specials, promotions, and specific Miller Time Pub and Grill features
- Learn all menu items and understand the pairing of beer with menu items
- Take orders, recite selection of all call and premium brands as requested, memorize all available drinks, beer, and taps
- Input orders into Point of Sale system to inform bartender and the Head of House of orders that need to be made
- Maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist with the bar area
- Replenish beverages as requested, frequently check back with guests to inquire about satisfaction
- Present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return in a friendly demeanor
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
