The Miller Time Pub Server position is a part-time role ideal for individuals who excel in the hospitality sector and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. As a server, you will play an integral role in creating memorable moments for guests by providing attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service. You will be expected to have a detailed understanding of the menu, including the beer program, and the ability to recommend pairings to enhance the guest experience.
The role requires top-notch customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Servers will greet guests promptly, explain specials and promotions, take and process orders accurately using the point of sale system, and ensure the cleanliness and readiness of guest areas. Additionally, maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages is critical.

Job Requirements
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Ability to remember and recite menu items
- Ability to transport trays through crowded rooms
- Must adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Work as a team player
- Ability to remain motivated during varying workloads
- Cash handling and self-banking ability
- Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale system
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate with guests, take orders, understand the menu, and promote specials
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
- Ability to transport trays through a crowded room continuously throughout the shift
- Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift
- Work as a team player
- Ability to remain motivated during busy and slow periods within shift
- Cash handling and self-banking skills, including ability to maintain funds and accurately count back change
- Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain the beer program, all specials, promotions, and specific Miller Time Pub and Grill features
- Learn all menu items and understand the pairing of beer with menu items
- Take orders, recite selection of all call and premium brands as requested, memorize all available drinks, beer, and taps
- Input orders into Point of Sale system to inform bartender and the Head of House of orders that need to be made
- Maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist with the bar area
- Replenish beverages as requested, frequently check back with guests to inquire about satisfaction
- Present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return in a friendly demeanor
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
