Job Description
The Client Care Coordinator position is a key administrative role within Prisma's integrated wellness clinic, centered on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring an organized, welcoming front desk environment. This role involves a variety of administrative duties including answering phones, managing appointments, completing data entry, and handling insurance verifications. The coordinator acts as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, requiring a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. This position supports the clinic’s mission to provide affirming and inclusive services, ensuring all clients receive compassionate and respectful care from their initial interaction onward. The Client Care Coordinator collaborates closely with clinical staff, facilitating smooth communication and scheduling to optimize patient experiences. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience in front office or customer service role
- ability to establish rapport with diverse populations
- ability to work in a mission-driven, diverse organization
- ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 days
- clear TB test or ability to obtain within 30 days
- current flu vaccination or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Hepatitis-B vaccination series or ability to initiate within 30 days
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- 2-3 years of front office or customer service experience
- demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with culturally diverse populations
- experience working in medical or behavioral health fields or with individuals with HIV/AIDS preferred
- experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
- bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Job Duties
- Check in all clients and visitors for appointments and meetings
- answer incoming calls
- schedule appointments as needed
- enter data from new and updated paperwork packets completed by clients
- verify insurances for patient appointments
- confirm appointments for providers
- scan documents into EMR system
